Discussions were held on various possibilities of coordination to enhance safety and security in Maldivian archipelago

State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and Member of the House of Representatives, Takei Shunsuke has paid courtesy calls on Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, Aminath Shauna and Minister of Defense Mariya Didi.

The Japanese State Minister discussed a variety of opportunities to transform Maldives into climate-resilient and environmentally sustainable nation, with Minister Shauna.

State Minister Takei Shunsuke's meeting with the Defense Minister saw discussions held on various possibilities of coordination to enhance safety and security in Maldivian archipelago.

The meeting was attended by the Maldivian Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal and Japanese Ambassador to the Maldives, Takeuchi Midori, as well.

Earlier , the Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs paid courtesy calls on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affair Abdulla Shahid.
