The police had arrested a 37-year-old and a 33-year-old this month
Two expatriates have been arrested in Fehendhoo island of Baa atoll in relation to a police investigation into separate sexual offense allegations.
The police had arrested a 37-year-old and a 33-year-old this month.
The 37-year-old was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 58-year-old woman on the 21st of June. He has been remanded by 15 days.
The police had arrested the 33-year-old on 14th June.
A total of 212 cases over sexual offenses have been filed with the Maldives Police Service thus far this year.
