"Bilateral relations with Korean Republic prospered significantly over the past years"
Minister said that the historical ties and enduring friendship between the two countries will be further strengthened

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has stated that the bilateral relations between the Maldives and the Republic of Korea has prospered significantly over the past years.
Minister Shahid stated that this in his message of felicitation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Park Jin, on the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Maldives and the Republic of Korea.
In his message, the Minister noted the bonds of close partnership between our two nations, founded on mutual respect and trust, common values and ideology. He noted that this relation has prospered significantly over the past years, leaving the Republic of Korea close to the hearts of many Maldivian people.
He went on to say that he is confident that the historical ties and enduring friendship will be further strengthened with constructive engagements in areas of mutual benefit for both countries.
The Minister, in his message, also extended his sincere greetings to the Foreign Minister, the Government, and the people of the Republic of Korea, on the prestigious occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries.
He expressed hope for the continued success, peace, and prosperity of the Government and the people Republic of Korea.
Minister Shahid concludes his message by conveying assurances of his highest consideration.
