The families of those that were gravely injured in an accident in Addu City on Thursday night have had them transferred to the capital city for treatment
Two people were injured in the collision between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck.
Those that witnessed the accident told RaajjeMV that a motorcycle had collided with the truck, and both the motorcycle's rider and passenger on the bike had sustained injuries.
Both were taken to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital for treatment, initially.
The pick-up driver was not injured in the accident; however, the vehicle was badly damaged.
Last week, a youth succumbed to his injuries, following an accident in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Addu City.
