Peace Foundation to bring in Dr. Bilal Philips
Event will be launched in Islamic Center
Dr. Bilal Philips will be taking part in the Foundation's event
Peace Foundation is to launch an event under the banner ‘Legacy’.
The event will be launched in Islamic Center, in the capital city Male'.
The Foundation says a date will be announced via its social media accounts at a later date.
Speaking in a press conference in Champa Central Hotel, Peace Foundation President Mohamed Nasr says the event will be held to enrich spirituality and knowledge of religion among Maldivians. He adds that Dr. Bilal Philips will be taking an active role in the event, which will be run as a series. Dr. Philips will be in the Maldives from July 13th to 17th.
Peace Foundation adds the event will be carried out for five days, in both Male’ and Fuvahmulah cities. Details of this, they say will be shared later.
