President Yameen is a coward: Hassan Latheef

Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Chairperson Hassan Latheef has criticized President Abdullah Yameen calling him a ‘coward’.

In a tweet posted on Monday, Hassan Latheef called him a coward, pledging to reinstate the jobs of those individuals removed from their positions unjustly during this tenure.

Several have been removed from their positions in civil service and state-owned corporations, without any warning or cause. The sudden nature of their dismissals has prompted many to speculate that these dismissals were politically motivated.
