Maldives beat Japan in the ongoing Asian Netball Championship.
Maldives was in the group with Singapore and Japan. Maldives lost their first match of the group 96-10 to Singapore.
Maldives beat Japan in their second match of the group on Monday. Maldives won the match 56-2 Maldives started the match playing well and leading. Maldives led 28-7 at the end of the first two quarters.
A total of 11 countries are competing in the tournament which runs until September 11th. The countries competing in the tournament are: Maldives, Sri Lanka, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Burma, Hong Kong and Thailand.
