Mohamed Huzam, celebrated for his soulful voice and remains in the list of best local singers to date, has passed away.

He died sometime after sundown on Thursday.
The native of Hulhudheli island in Dhaalu atoll passed away at 48 years of age.
The singer was famous for his melodious vocals after having begun his singing career in early 2000s. Some of his songs remain the top most-listened-to songs across Maldivian homes to date.
Huzam was employed in the field of engineering after having completed higher education in the field from Malaysia.
Following the songbird’s passing, friends, family, artists and the general public have been pouring condolences across the country.
