A new deputy minister has been appointed to the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Monday.
Appointed a deputy minister for National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure is Abdulla Falah Shareef.
The new deputy planning minister previously served as the President of the Fuvahmulah Atoll Council.
Other positions he filled include the Mayor of Fuvahmulah City.
