The Laamu Gan Regional Hospital Board has been established.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih constituted the board on Tuesday.
Ibrahim Shareef is to serve as the board’s chairperson. The board will be tasked the responsibility of governing the manamgement of Laamu Gan Regional Hospital.
This is to be done in accordance with the country’s Decentralization Act.
Members of the Laamu Gan Regional Hospital Board are Regional Financial Sector Representative Shareef, Independent Health Sector Expert Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Public Representative Mohamed Hameed, Atoll Council President Ismail Ali and Hospital-in-charge Mohamed Shiyam.
