Kaadehdhoo, Dharavandhoo flights diverted

Two flights have been diverted from Velana International Airport due to current weather conditions.

Speaking to Raajje.mv, Maldivian’s Head of Facilities Ali Nashath said that diverting flights due to weather was common and that this was the case on Sunday night.

Flights from Kaadehdhoo to Male’ and flights from Dharavandhoo to Male’ were diverted on Sunday night. The two flights were unable to land due to the weather.

A yellow alert had been issued for most of the country.
