A Bangladeshi has been found dead in Fonadhoo island of Laamu atoll.

The 27-year-old male had reportedly been missing for two days. 

An official from the Maldives Police Service that the man is goes by the name ‘Hassan’ullah’. 

His body was found in the trees near a recreational area in Baraasil ward of the island – the area has now been cordoned off.
