The event focused on raising awareness of the historical context of the Palestinian struggle, emphasizing the humanitarian consequences of the blockade, and the need for global political pressure to bring about change.

Addressing the gathering, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed condemned the continued Israeli assaults on Gaza, describing them as “brutal attacks.” He called for immediate humanitarian support, particularly for children and those in urgent need of medical care.
