The President's Office has opened applications for membership to the Board of Directors of Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA), as the terms of four current board members are set to expire.
The application window is open from Thursday through 6 July 2025. Applications will be accepted until 12pm, July 6.
The President's Office said that application forms will be accepted during the given application period, from 8:30am to 12pm on all days except official holidays, at their office.
The application form for MIRA Board membership can be downloaded from the President's Office official website.
There are seven members on MIRA's Board including Chairperson Ahmed Saeed Musthafa, Deputy Chairperson Leena Mohamed Zahir Hussain, Commissioner General of Taxation Hassan Zareer, and Board Members Aishath Asha Ali, Dhaha Shuaib, Mumthaz Abdul Rasheed, and Husham Waheed.
Some of the conditions for applying to the board include having a master’s degree or equivalent qualification from a government-recognized institution in the fields of Tax, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Law.
Anyone affiliated with a political party cannot apply for this position.
