Bank of Maldives (BML) has supported the upgrading of Special Education Needs (SEN) facilities at Salahuddin School in Hulhumalé and Hiriya School in Malé, benefiting nearly 200 students with special needs.
The country’s national bank revealed that the initiative includes classroom refurbishment and the provision of specialized educational tools.
The bank’s statement further reads that these tools will aid students to develop their individual abilities and positively impact learning and development in an inclusive environment.
Further, this development is part of the bank’s broader community investment strategy, which has seen the bank support 40 schools nationwide with educational resources.
In addition to this, the country’s national bank has provided financial support to establish a therapy room at Imaduddin School and modernize computer laboratories across atoll schools.
