The Elections Commission has placed a total of thirty-one ballot boxes in southernmost Addu City.
Elections officials will place 15 boxes in Hithadhoo, central and south Hithadhoo, and five boxes in Feydhoo. They are also to place a total of six boxes in Meedhoo and Hulhudhoo as well as three in Maradhoo-Feydhoo.
A total of 19 candidates are contesting the seven avaialable seats on the city’s council.
The elections are slated for Saturday, May 6th.
