The government constructed a total of 100 housing units in the island
A list of recipients of the 50 housing units being issued in Thulhaadhoo island of Baa atoll has been publicized.
The island council revealed that the final list of recipients of 50 of the housing units, was finalized by the committee on Friday, during its 136th meeting.
The recipients in the final list were selected after careful consideration during a council meeting, under the policies and criterion set by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
Those who acquired the most number of points were included in the final list of recipients, said the council.
The council received a total of 314 applications for the 50 housing units. The government constructed a total of 100 housing units in the island.
