The Asian Beach Volleyball Tour is held in two regions of Thailand, and will continue till April 18

The Maldives beach volley duo, Adam Naseem and Shiunaz Abdul Wahid beat the Saudi Arabia pair in the Asian Beach Volleyball Tour 2017 on Friday.

Naseem and Shiunaz won the match in three sets to one.

In addition to the two, Ahmed Anil and Adnan Abdul Hameedh are competing in the tour, and lost to Sri Lanka in three straight sets.

The tour, which began on April 6, will continue till the 18th in two regions of Thailand.

The two pairs left for Thailand on April 6, with Ahmed Nasheed accompanying them as trainer and coach.

Captain Shiunaz had said that they aimed to go through to the second round of the tour, adding that ‘this tour is a huge tour for all teams of Asian nations’.
