All government employees have been advised to work according to the 11th directive of the President’s Office

The working hours are set from 10am to 2pm

The government’s official working hours for the ongoing fasting month of Ramadan have been announced.

The President’s Office officially announced the official working hours for Ramadan 1441, via a directive on Friday evening.

As such, the office revealed that civil servants and all state employees will be working a shift between 10am and 2pm.

All government employees have been advised to work according to the 11th directive of the President’s Office issued earlier this year, which directs civil servants to work from home as the public holidays were declared on 19 March, due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Since then, government offices and educational institutes have been closed, however, all essential services are being provided with a minimum number of staff on the front lines to ensure these services continue without any interruption.

This year’s fasting month of Ramadan falls at a time the Covid-19 pandemic has been sweeping across the globe, infecting and killing thousands.
