Authorities have announced the delivery hours for local shops and restaurants as well as cafés set during the 24-hour lockdown period announced on Wednesday.
As such, the announcement was made by the Maldives Police Service (MPS) via Twitter early Thursday.
Local shops and food outlets that have been permitted to deliver food and essentials to the people in the Greater Malé Region will be allowed to make delivery from 9am to 2pm, 3pm to 6pm and from 8pm to 11pm.
Authorities have been urging the public to refrain from visiting shops and to order essentials and food items through deliver.
