Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has signed a partnership agreement with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF).

The agreement was signed on Monday, between FAM President Bassam Adeel Jaleel and the Secretary General of the Saudi Football Association Ibrahim al-Kassim.

Following the signing ceremony, FAM tweeted that with the partnership both FAM and SAFF agree “to continue to develop strong ties, for the mutual benefit of [both] associations and for the promotion, growth and continued success of football in the two countries.”

The FAM president described it as “another successful partnership” with the federation, adding that this “would allow for the technical and professional exchanges between both countries.”
