Four new advisors have been appointed to the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Thursday morning at a ceremony held at the President’s Office where the four new appointees were handed their letters of appointment.
Appointed are, Recipients of Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin, Naseema Mohamed Kaleyfaanu, Abbas Ibrahim and Abdulla Sodiq as well as Mohamed ‘Madulu’ Waheed.
During the meeting, Solih expressed hope that the four new appointees would make the best use of their experience to assist the Heritage Ministry in its efforts to safeguard the perpetuation of items and sites of historical value to the upcoming generations and to ensure the documentation, preservation and protection of the cultural heritage of Maldives.
Having expressed gratitude for the opportunity, the four new appointees assured their commitment to use their duties and responsibilities, to the “best of their abilities”.
