Parliamentary education seminar begins
185 students from all the Addu City schools, from grade 9 to 11, are participating in the one-day seminar
The parliament has been holding the seminar annually since 2007
The parliament administration has begun its parliamentary education seminar in Addu City.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, the parliament’s media director Hassan Ziyau highlighted that they have been holding the seminar annually since 2007.
He said that the reason why they have been holding the seminar for 12 years is because they believe that it was important to provide parliamentary education to school students.
He also said that 185 students from all the Addu City schools, from grade 9 to 11, are participating in the one-day seminar.
The parliament has stated that the purpose of the seminar is to provide information on the workings of the parliament and that seminars will also be held in other atolls.
