BML launches self-service banking in two islands
 
This will support locals to make their deposits, payments and transfers on a 24-hour basis
 
BML has so far established 40 self-service banking centers across the country

Bank of Maldives, the national bank has launched a round the clock self-service banking center with the opening of modern new branch premises in B. Thulhaadhoo and L. Maavah islands.

In a tweet on Thursday, BML revealed that as part of their efforts to extend services across the outlying atolls, they opened the centers which will support locals and businesses in making their deposits, payments and transfers on a round-the-clock basis.

BML’s new investments focuses on expanding their services across all outlying islands that fits the modern era.

BML’s Deputy CEO Aishath Nooraddeen stated that the establishment of these centers adds to the banks milestone in providing their services to citizens effectively.

This was an important step under the bank’s MVR 300 million investment to expand their services.

While BML has so far established 45 self-service banking centers across the country with a nationwide network of 37 branches across 20 atolls, the bank also has 107 ATMs, 5,400 point of sale merchants, 277 agents and a full suite of digital banking services.
