Vice President Faisal Naseem has urged government employees to stray away from corruption and provide high-quality services.
The Vice President said this during his speech at the event to celebrate Maldives Water & Sewerage Company (MWS)’s 24th anniversary.
Speaking at the event, Vice President Faisal encouraged the staff of MWSC and other companies to make the best use of office hours in ensuring quality service to the Maldivian people.
He also appealed to limit the use of single-use plastic and to adopt more environmentally friendly methods and emphasized the importance of saving water as well as urging parents to become role models for their children by advocating water conservation.
At the event, the Vice President presented the 'Chairman award for excellence' to the nominated staff.
