The annual tournament is held during the Eid al-Fitr holidays
The Baibalaa Tournament 2019 will commence on Wednesday, with 32 teams.
Maldives Baibalaa Association said that the first match of the tournament will begin at 8:15pm.
A total of eight matches are to be held on opening night, with the first match between LT Sports Club and Masodi Titans.
While a high number of teams are participating in this year’s baibalaa tournament, most of them began preparations early.
The annual tournament is held during the Eid al-Fitr holidays.
The winning team of this year’s Baibalaa tournament will get MVR 40,000, while Mr. Baibalaa will win MVR 10,000 and the fair play team will be awarded MVR 15,000.
