Based on said investigation, the ministry will soon be implementing the slashes on internet services, RaajjeMV understands.

While this is the first major task being carried out by the Ministry since Minister Maleeh assumed office in November, Local internet providers Ooredoo Maldives, Dhiraagu as well as the Communication Authority of the Maldives joined the discussions held by the Minister to bring desirable changes to pricing internet services in December.

“We will prioritize internet provision to the citizens at a swift speed and at affordable prices” assured the minister.
