STELCO employees promoted to newly created positions
This comes after the president-elect requested the government to refrain from making any drastic changes
A circular on October 4 stated that the company made the new policies to make the company more efficient and improve its services and published it in September

State utilities company STELCO has promoted more than 20 employees to newly created positions while the government is in the process of transitioning into a new administration.

STELCO gave the promotions after a sudden change in their policies, even after President-elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih urged the government to refrain from making any drastic changes during the transition period.

A circular on October 4 stated that the company made the new policies to make the company more efficient and improve its services and published it in September.

The promotions publicized in the circular are as follows:

Mohamed Latheef as Deputy Managing Director,

Ibrahim Rauf as Superintendent Engineer,

General Manager Aishath Muzna as Company Secretary (temp),

General Manager Aminath Rizna as head of Corporate and Legal Affairs Department,

General Manager Mohamed Shahid as head of Customer Services and Building Department,

General Manager Ahmed Saif as head of Projects, Planning & Development Department,

General Manager Ahmed Iqbal as head of Engineering & Mechanical Department,

General Manager Ahmed Shafeeq as head of Transmission & Distribution Department,

General Manager Mohamed Saleem as head of Finance & Accounting Department,

General Manager Aishath Muzna as head of STELCO Bureau,

General manager Abdul Malik Thaufeeq as head of Procurement Department,

General Manager Abdul Nathir as head of Human Resources & Training Department,

General Manager Hassan Hussain as head of Transport & Logistic Department,

General Manager Abdulla Mushrif as head of Information Technology & Software Department,

General Ahmed Saif as head of Internal Audit & Quality Assurance Department (temp),

General Manager Ibrahim Nashid as head of Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Department,
