Maldives islands that had not reached the adequate amount of re-registered persons are Felivaru island in Lhaviyani atoll as well as Kadhdhoo island in Laamu atoll.

The nine resorts in which polling stations will not be placed include, Adhaaran Select Hudhuranfushi, Vakkaru Maldives, Amillafushi and Coastline Residences, Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, Cocoon Maldives, Constance Halaveli Resort, Amaari Hovaddaa Maldives, Kanuhuraa and lastly Robinson Club.

Total of registered persons in all these regions combined reach 195. Spokesperson Akram revealed that persons in said regions will be given opportunity for re-registration from the 27 – 29th of August.
