Changes brought to closing times of shops and diners starting Friday
Shops were kept open till 11:00 p.m. while cafes and restaurant were kept open till 03:00 a.m during Ramadan
Shops will close at 10:00 p.m. while cafes and restaurants will close at 01:00 a.m starting Friday
The ministry brought further changes to the timings in which cargo is to be delivered within the city as well

The Ministry of Economic Affairs has on Thursday announced that closing times of shops and restaurants will go back to regular procedure following the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The ministry had permitted shops to be kept open till 11:00 p.m. and café’s and restaurants to be kept open for service till 03:00 a.m. during the six days that follow after Eid-Al-Fitr.

Economic Ministry said that starting Friday, shops will close at 10:00 p.m. while cafés and restaurants will close at 01:00 a.m.

The ministry brought further changes to the timings in which cargo is to be delivered within the city. As such, cargo delivery will be allowed within the times given prior to the time changes brought by the Transport Authority from the 30th of March.

Cargo delivery was banned during daytime after the 30th of March and timings were set from 06:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m.
