Maumoon Hameed, former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s attorney, has been given a police summon for Wednesday night.
The summon is on the allegation that Hameed gave false information on a police investigation during a press interview on February 13.
Hameed represents former President Gayoom as well as his son, MP Faris Maumoon.
Hameed has been vocal over the imprisonment of former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.
