The Criminal Court has cancelled its hearing on the alleged coup-related allegations against former commissioner of police Ahmed Areef has been scheduled for Monday.

The hearing was for 12:00pm. The last hearing in the case was held on May 13th and Areef had denied the allegations of terrorism prosecutors put forth against him.

Areef is accused of terrorism for allegedly ‘conspiring to overthrow the government’ and in the last hearing he said the charges were baseless.
