'Manthiri Jagaha' under Nasheed's primary campaign opened in Hoarafushi

A new campaign site under former President and leader of main opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Mohamed Nasheed's campaign "Jazeera Raees" (Island President), has been opened in Hoarafushi island island of Haa Alifu atoll.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, Hoarafushi council member Ahmed Imdhah said that the "Manthiri Jagaha" was officially opened on Saturday night, during a special ceremony attended by many members of the opposition party.

The council member further said that activities under "Jazeera Raees" will proceed full steam ahead in the coming days throughout the island. As such, several campaign activities have been planned to raise the possibility of Nasheed's win in the primary ballots.

While Nasheed's campaign activities are proceeding full steam ahead in the capital city Male' and outlying atolls, he remains the only candidate to have bid his candidacy for the party ticket.
