Qualifying teams from the Minivan Championship have been selected for the Dhivehi Premier League.

Qualifying teams for the League are teams from Thimarafushi in Thaa Atoll, Nilandhoo in Gaafu Atoll, Foakaidhoo in Shaviyani  and, Fehendhoo in Baa Atoll, who had reached the semi finals of the Minivan Championship.

Thamarafushi team had reached the semi finals after beating S Hithadhoo 1-2 in the final match of the group stage.

With this win Thimarafushi team had secured the top spot of the group stage with Nilandhoo team securing second with eight points, Hithadhoo securing third spot with five points and G.Dh Hoadehdhoo coming in last with nil points.

Foakaidhoo had reached the semi finals beating HA Muraidhoo 3-2 in the final match of the group stage and had secured the top spot with 10 points. Second came Fehendhoo with nine points, beating Fenfushi with a score of 1-6. While Maalhos came in third with seven points, Muraidhoo landed the fourth spot with three points and Fenfushi came in last with nil points.

While Thimarafushi and Fehendhoo will face off in the first match of the semi finals on 04th May Friday, Foakaidhoo and Nilandhoo will face off in the second match of the semi finals on the 05th of May Saturday.

The final match of the championship is scheduled to take place on the 10th of May, Thursday in the Galolhu stadium of capital city Male'.

Top four teams of this championship will compete against  the top six teams from STO Male' League in the Premier League.
