Rescue officers locate body of missing speed boat captain

Rescue officers have discovered the body of a 36-year-old man reported missing in the collision between two speed boats on Thursday night.
Mohamed Ahmed, native to Kudahuvadhoo island in Dhaalu atoll, was found about 45 meters below surface in the area that the collision occurred.
Rescue officers brought his body to capital city Malé on Friday.
The speedboats, both operated by a local tourist resort, collided into each other about seven nautical miles north of Malé.
A Bangladeshi citizen involved in the collision had also sustained several injuries, to which he had succumbed during treatment.
