The Maldives Police Service has released a studio album in commemoration of their 85th anniversary.

The album was officially released on April 14th during an event at the Rasrani Bageecha, where Home Minister Azleen Ahmed was the chief guest.

The five-track album was produced by Tonic Live Studio, as per an agreement signed between them and the police in January.

Songwriters for this album include locally prominent literary figures, Ramlaa Abdul Ghani, Adam Abdul Rahmaan, Adam Naseer Ibrahim, and Abdul Rasheed Hussein.

Well-known local artists such as Shifa Thaufeeq, Raafiath Rameez, Mohamed Abdul Ghani, Mariyam Ashfa, Ibrahim Zaid Ali, Ibrahim Mamdhooh, Maain asheed, Hassan Thalaaq, Abdulla Nashif, Abdulla Miushaadh, Shalabee Ibrahim, Majeed Ismail, Aishath Amaani, Mariyam Shaushath, Aishath Zaaraa Islmail, and Yamin Rasheed are featuring on the track.

The police’s anniversary falls on 29th March.
