A part of Kaashidhoo island of Male’ atoll is to be leased for tourism.

The island’s southern area has been placed on the tourism ministry’s list of regions available for lease.

According to the ministry’s announcement, 200,000 square feet has been reserved with an acquisition cost of MVR 15 million.
