Housing Ministry to sell 27 housing units in Male'

The Housing Ministry has announced that 27 housing units are to be sold in Male' under their housing scheme..
According to the announcement, 15 units from Maafannu, 2 from Mahchangoalhi, 5 from Galolhu and 5 from Henveiru wards of capital Male' city are to be sold.
Interested parties are requested to submit their proposals under the "Veshifahi" housing scheme by April 19.
The Housing Ministry states that one hectare of land is priced at MVR 2000, and will be sold off under the "Veshifahi" housing scheme, and that 256 households from the westward of Maafannu district will receive flats.
Speaking at a news briefing held last week, Housing Minister Dr Mohamed Muizzu said that under the Social Housing Scheme, 6000 flats are to be constructed and most will be given to the residents of Male'.
