The Criminal Court has again summoned MP Ilham Ahmed on Tuesday, despite having been earlier remanded.

While the purpose of producing him in court is yet unclear, Ilham was remanded by 15 days. His brother, who is also his legal representative, was also remanded.

MP Ilham was arrested on charges of attempting to overthrow the government but the police later investigated him on allegations of threatening parliamentarians.
