Supreme Court justice Ali Hameed being summoned to the Criminal Court on Tuesday, 20th March
Supreme Court Justice Ali Hameed, who is detained over allegations of attempting to overthrow the government and accepting bribes, has been brought before a Criminal Court judge.
Justice Hameed was brought to the court on Tuesday evening, and is to be remanded.
The police have found that former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom has been providing financial assistance to the adjudicator and he had used large sums of money to buy a flat.
