The Criminal Court has schedules it first hearing over charges put forth against Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed, of obstructing the conduct of a public official.
The hearing has been scheduled for 3:00 PM.
While the police has been investigating Chief Justice Saeed and Justice Ali Hameed for accepting bribes and conspiring to overthrow the government, officers now allege they had destroyed evidence against them.
The charges of destroying evidence was also put forth against the Chief Justice in February 28th. Although, the office had sent them back to the police for reassessment of particular specifics.
