Steel Hardware has denied reports that five of its senior officials had been arrested on Monday night.
The hardware store’s Managing Director Ali Fauzee told RaajjeMV that reports of its officials being arrested are false, and cautioned media outlets over ‘spreading such false information’.
According to reports, five directors from Steel Hardware were arrested on Monday night, with one released a few hours later.
Earlier on Tuesday, Steel Hardware sent out a tweet denying the arrests, saying the information of their directors being arrested “is incorrect”, adding that they are working “as usual”.
None of our Directors have been arrested. The information is incorrect. The Directors are working as usual. Business continues as usual. @thayyib
