RaajjeTV journalist Hussain Hassan was arrested on Friday night, while covering the opposition's "warm up" rally.

Hussain was arrested violently, while was reporting live from the scene.

Media personnel were targeted by police during the joint opposition’s rally, with officers using force to push them back. While they were also pepper sprayed at close range, some journalists were taken to hospital for treatment.

VTV's journalist Leevaan Ali Nasir was arrested tonight as well.
