Officers of the Maldives National Defence Force have quelled a fire on a safari docked at a harbour in Hulhumalé.
The military said that they were informed of the fire at about 09:00 AM on Tuesday, and that they had dispatched units immediately.
It is unclear if any individuals had been involved or injured in the incident.
Hulhumalé is the capital city's fast-growing urban extension.
