Student injured after an assault
A student was assaulted while leaving school on Wednesday.
The police media officer said the student from Dharumavantha School was attacked from behind, on Lily Magu at around 12:55pm.
The victim is now being treated for a back injury at ADK Hospital.
While the incident is being investigated as a serious crime, no one has been arrested yet.
A student was injured in an attack on Tuesday as well, after a gang barged into Thaajudheen School. Police had said that all involved in the attack had been taken into custody.
