25-year-old Ali Thoyyib, who had been missing for three days, has returned to his workplace, Club Med Kani.

Police confirmed that Thoyyib has been ‘found’, adding that he ‘was found after he returned to his workplace’.

He was reported missing after Club Med Kani contacted his family, after not being able to reach Thoyyib for three days.

The resort told the family that Thoyyib had traveled to the capital Malé City for one day (Employees who work in resorts near Malé are allowed to travel there on their off days). While he is expected to visit a relative’s house when in Malé, it is reported that he did not show up at the house this time.
