Ali Thoyyib, 25
A 25-year-old from Addu City has been reported missing.
Ali Thoyyib, who works in Club Med Kani in Kaafu atoll, has been missing for three days, according to his family.
The search was launched after the resort contacted his family, having failed to contact Thoyyib himself.
The resort told the family that Thoyyib had traveled to the capital Malé City for one day (Employees who work in resorts near Malé are allowed to travel there on their off days). While he is expected to visit a relative’s house when in Malé, it is reported that he did not show up at the house this time.
The family has filed a missing persons report at the Maldives Police Service (MPS).
