Police have asked for public assistance in finding a suspect reportedly incriminated in a theft case.
The Maldives Police Service announced through their website that officers of the general investigation unit have been looking for him.
They have asked the public to share any information that they may have on the person caught and encircled in the footage.
The police announced in their year-end report that crime had gone down significantly in the last years, and the website shows a definite decrease in reported cases.
