The alleged female victim of L Mundoo Council Vice President Adam Nasif’s assault is in good health, says Gan Regional Hospital.

The Hospital said that the victim has injuries to her head.

Nasif and a 19-year-old were arrested under a court order.

A Mundoo resident said Nasif’s wife was seen in a heated debate with the woman outside the island’s magistrate court, prior to the assault, and that the woman then began arguing with Nasif.

RaajjeMV was also told that the council has filed a complaint against the woman, for entering the council office and creating a disturbance.
