Mohamed Anil wins RaajjeTV’s Employee of the Year

RaajjeTV has presented the Employee of the Year 2017 award to its Chief Cameraman, Mohamed Anil.
Anil was presented with the award at RaajjeTV Staff Award 2017 on Friday night at Ghiyasuddin International School by distinguished guest Hussain Mohamed, the MP for Mathiveri.
He was up against Senior Video Journalists Ahmed Muhsin and Mohamed Fazeen for the award, which he has won for the second time.
Also at the award ceremony, Senior Video Journalist Fathimath Shanaa Mohamed won Most Promising Employee, and Senior Video Journalist Mohamed Wisam won Most Creative.
Wisam also won an award for his documentary on three Maldivians girls who had lived in an Indian orphanage.
Senior Video Journalist Ahmed Muhsin won Best Presenter, and also won an award for his report garnering the most views, which was on a witness who had heard blogger Yameen Rasheed’s murder.
Fathimath Shanaa won Best Writing for her report on a man who had died in prison after being arrested at the May Day protest.
Azmoon Ahmed Didi won Most Popular Writer, and Rushda Rasheed won Most Prolific.
Mohamed Sharuhan won Best Photographer for his collection of photos of a special arrest operation conducted by police.
Ahmed Siraj won Best Video Editor, Adam Zareer won best Cameraman, and Aminath Mohamed won best On-Air Operator.
The awards for Most Punctual were given to Head of Programs and Co-ordination Amir Saleem, Chief Cameraman Mohamed Anil, Deputy Head of International News Abdulla Mohamed, Senior Video Journalist Ahmed Muhsin and Senior Video Journalist Mohamed Fazeen.
Mohamed Anil and Senior Video Journalist Ahmed Mamdhooh were also given awards for their five years of service at RaajjeTV.
